Perrelet Turbine XL 48 Titanium ref. A1050-1 – Full set

When it made its debut in 2009, the Turbine immediately caught on, quickly becoming Perrelet’s most emblematic modern watch. Over the years, the sports model has undergone its fair share of transformations, ultimately culminating in the Turbine XL.

The dynamic look and architecture of the original make a comeback for this updated iteration, but as its name suggests, they do so in a rather grand manner. The aggressive geometry is even more assertive in this rendition, the dial is made even more easily legible by the stenciled indices and red flourishes, and the case has been rendered in titanium, making for light and easy wear. It has also had its size increased to 48 mm in diameter.
The cherry on top – which is also the elephant in the room, as it so happens – the dial showcases a propeller that spins with the wearer’s slightest movement. Make no mistake, however – this is no toy. It is a fully-fledged horological instrument produced by a centuries-old, respected watchmaker.
Inside, proudly displayed by the sapphire caseback, the caliber Perrelet P-331 is ticking away. The in-house movement features 25 jewels, operates at 28,800 vbh, and boasts a power reserve of 42 hours.

Our offering is in superb good condition – polished recently by the previous owner and worn only a couple of times, comes in a full set of boxes and papers, and is outfitted with its original rubber strap with titanium buckle. Ticking per specs.
