While Patek Philippe hardly needs an introduction, the watch on offer might very well need an extensive one.
The Naviquartz is a nautical quartz-powered clock released by Patek in the 1970s. While the brand’s wrist and pocket watches are among some of the most widely recognized, the same cannot be said about the Naviquartz. It was originally designed as a back-up navigational system – very niche, as applications go – but found considerably more favor as an office desk ornament. From a historical standpoint, the Naviquartz represents an encapsulation of the technologically turbulent times that the Quartz Crisis brought about. This variation of the E 1200 series sports a black dial with Arabic numeral indices and a utilitarian, military-style typeface. It weighs in at 2 kg and measures 140 mm by 200 mm, and has a thickness of 54 mm.
The clock is powered by the 33”’ Photo-Electric cell caliber – an in-house chronometer movement that features a jumping seconds hand.
Our offering is in excellent condition and comes with all the booklets and papers – the Practical Guide (Operating manual), the Certificate of Guarantee, and the Date of despatch.
The clock is covered by 1 year of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
