Omega Speedmaster 44.25 Dark Side of the Moon Chronograph ref. 311.92.44.30.01.002 Team Alinghi – Black Ceramic, Carbon dial

Among all of OMEGA’s historic timepieces, few are as recognizable or as universally celebrated as the Speedmaster. Even the watch worn by agent 007 can’t hope to compete with the world’s most renowned chronograph, and that’s saying something. Having taken part in all six lunar missions, the legendary Moonwatch embodies the Swiss manufacturer’s philosophy of innovation, as well as their pioneering and adventurous spirit.
The watch on offer here, the Dark Side of the Moon Team Alinghi, is not your typical Speedmaster, but it is without a doubt all the more special for it.
Made to honor the Geneva-based Alinghi sailing team – winner of the 2003 America’s Cup – the watch features an aggressive black-on-black color palette with an array of red flourishes across the case and dial, chief among which is the team’s logo at 6 o’clock and on the start/stop pusher. The 44.25 mm case is fashioned out of black ceramic, the tachymeter scale and indices are in Super-LumiNova, and the dial showcases a mixture of black honeycomb and carbon-weave patterns inspired by the hull of the ALINGHI TF35 catamaran. The same theme continues behind the sapphire caseback, which proudly displays the hand-wound Calibre 1865.
Our offering is in excellent condition and comes outfitted with its OEM strap. Regrettably, it comes without the Omega Warranty cards, but with its original box and booklet.
