In 2005, Omega introduced the Planet Ocean line – a homage to its maritime heritage and a significant evolution of that legacy. The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M embodies both respect for tradition and a forward-looking approach.
Encased in stainless steel, the watch features a meticulous combination of fine hairlines and polished, mirror-like surfaces. The black dial adds a touch of refinement and sophistication compared to the sportier Seamasters, with aggressive rectangular indices and arrow-shaped hands eloquently emphasizing the watch’s capabilities. With a water resistance of up to 600 meters (2000 feet), facilitated by a helium escape valve, this version of the Planet Ocean is a professional diving instrument. The uni-directional ceramic bezel and screw-down crown further contribute to its prowess.
The OMEGA Co-Axial caliber 8500, a certified Chronometer movement, powers this timepiece and is visible through the transparent caseback.
