In 2005, Omega launched its Planet Ocean line with its extensive dive watch legacy in mind, but the collection was more than a mere tribute – it was and still is a worthy continuation of the brand’s heritage.
The Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M comes equipped with a familiar 43.5 mm steel case, whose aggressive architecture is emphasized by a blend of fine hairlines and smooth, mirror-like surfaces. The matt-black dial strikes an excellent balance between information markers and empty space, achieving a look that is both stylish and utilitarian. It features a stealthy date display at 3 o’clock and is adorned with SuperLumiNova indices, which guarantee optimal legibility in pretty much any setting. The double broad arrow hands are well-defined and generously proportioned, beautifully tying together the retro aesthetic of the piece.
Since it is a fully-fledged professional diving instrument, the PO 600M features a unidirectional ceramic bezel, a helium escape valve, and a screw-down crown and caseback that ensure a WR rating of 600 meters (2000 feet).
Inside, proudly displayed by the exhibition caseback, the remarkable in-house Co-Axial Chronometer caliber 8900 is ticking per spec. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it had to pass all of the rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
Our offering is in mint condition – worn only a couple of times and comes in full set of its original boxes and papers.
