As for the Aqua Terra branch of the Seamaster family, its name tells you everything you need to know – it translates to Water Earth from Latin and is an apt designation for a timepiece that reconciles the functions of a professional diving watch with those of an everyday wearer.

This iteration of the Aqua Terra blends Red Gold and high-quality leather to spectacular effect. Adding to the air of opulence surrounding this piece is the masterful finishing of the case, which highlights the sleekness of the familiar-looking 43 mm case. The snowy dial, meanwhile, contrasts the warm luster of the gold that surrounds it and serves as the aesthetic centerpiece. The indices and sword and arrow hands are, of course, also fashioned out of Red Gold, with the red-tipped GMT hand pointing to a set of discreet numerals interspersed between the aggressive indices – quite an elegant solution for the GMT complication, which leaves the dapper, dressy look of the watch unmarred.
Inside, proudly showcased by the exhibition caseback, the certified chronometer OMEGA Co-Axial caliber 8615 is ticking confidently – and beautifully – away.
