Omega Dynamic I ref. ST 166.0039 – 1968, Blue dial, Bracelet, Serviced

The watch is a beautiful vintage Omega from 1968 (dated by the movement serial number) – the Dynamic I ref. ST 166.0039. It is one of the emblematic designs from that era – the oval case shape was one of the first watch designs, made on a computer. It all came from Omegas search of the best possible design to fit a human wrist. Inside is ticking the inhouse Omega cal. 565 – an automatic movement with date complication. The case is Monocoque design, measuring 36.4 x 41.5 mm, with hermetically sealed plexi crystal. Dial in blue with long hour markers, hands are sword shaped with the seconds hand being very contrasting shade of blue. The bracelet is the original ST 1153/138 – an innovative single piece screw-in into a circular groove under the case by a steel ring. Our offering is in good condition – everything on it still original – branded crown, dial has some pattina where the lume was on the markers and a small scratch between 7 and 8 o’clock markers, branded crystal with the micro Omega logo in the middle – has a small crack on the outer perimeter, visible only when looking sideways on it. The Dynamic has been serviced in 01.2020 and is now ticking perfectly.

Covered by a limited warranty of 6 months, starting on the date of purchase.
