Omega De Ville Prestige Quartz 27.4 ref. 424.20.27.60.55.001 – NEW, Mother of Pearl dial with Diamonds

With all the noise around Omega’s sports watches, it’s easy to forget that divers and chronographs aren’t what made the brand famous. As a matter of fact, the universally-celebrated Seamaster started life as a decidedly dressier timepiece, and so did its more luxurious variation – the Seamaster De Ville. Due to the transformation of the Seamaster, however, Omega decided to assign the De Ville name to a more sophisticated and elegant collection of timepieces, so the De Ville Prestige line came to embody all the qualities that the Seamaster no longer could.
This model features a pristine Mother of Pearl dial with Roman numeral and diamond indices. The 27.4 mm case is fashioned out of steel and comes with a mirror-polished finish, and the bezel, crown, and bracelet center links are fashioned out of 18k Yellow Gold. The striking dial with its sword-shaped hands is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
