Neuvex 17 Perpetua Alarm – Calendar, Automatic, AS cal. 5008, Serviced

The watch is a highly complicated vintage piece made by a small US owned watchmaker – Clinton Watch Co. under the swiss brand Neuvex. It is dated to the 70s and during that time, a watch with such complications was considered top of line. The functionalities it has are day-date, alarm, automatic movement and a manual perpetual calendar, where one can calculate any day of any month by rotating the inner bezel. It is powered by the A. Schild caliber 5008 – a movement so good it is was in use by Ulysse Nardin, Girard Perregaux and others including more recently the Oris Artelier range. Interesting about it is the way the rotor winds both the alarm and timekeeping barrels – in one direction of rotation winds the timekeeping barrel and the other winds the alarm. Our offering is very good condition – shows some discoloration on the plating around the glass perimeter, has some small scratches here and there, but the dial is flawless and the watch is ticking perfectly. Professionally serviced in 02.2020 – cleaned and oiled and all the functions work properly. Comes on a brown leather strap.

Covered by a limited warranty of 6 months, starting on the date of purchase.
