Since 1983 Louis Vuitton is taking part in the America’s Régate Cup and thus formed the Louis Vuitton Cup, a preliminary competition to select the team to sail as the challenger in the America’s Cup. As part of their branding in 2004 they launched the Tambour LV Cup Régate watch. Many different versions would follow in the next few years – always in limited editions. A very rare example of the line is the 2010 Tambour Regate Navy Automatique. A very interesting watch in 44 mm stainless steel case with blue/red diala and the LV 171 flyback chronograph movement with a Dubois-Dépraz regatta module. Our offering is superb – near mint condition, but the strap has some serious wear and a replacement is due. Comes in full set – all the boxes and papers.
