Laco Fliegeruhr Typ B 45 ref. 861934 Friedrichshafen Erbstück (Level 2) – NEW, Made in Germany, Pilots watch

Laco was founded in 1925 by Frieda Lacher and Ludwig Hummel under the name Lacher & Co. During World War II, the brand manufactured watches for the German Luftwaffe alongside A. Lange & Söhne, IWC, Wempe, and Stowa, which helped it perfect its production system in the process. After the war had ended, Laco continued specializing in aviator watches, and precision and functionality remained its primary focus.
The watch on offer here – the Fliegeruhr Typ B Friedrichshafen Erbstück – closely follows the iconic design of those first historic flight instruments, but it also simulates what one of them would look like today if worn throughout the decades. All of its components – the 45 mm case, the classic dial, the blued hands, and the leather strap – are aged by hand, without any mechanical aid, so the aging looks fully authentic, and no two watches are alike. This specific example is aged to Level 2, which means – in Laco’s own words – that it shows average signs of wear, but nothing overly dramatic. For the most accurate impression, please have a look through our photos – we guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Last but not least, the Fliegeruhr Typ B is powered by non-other than the reliable cal. Laco 200, which is based on the Sellita cal. SW200-1.
Our offering is brand new and comes in a full set of boxes and papers.

Covered by manufacturers international warranty (started in 01.2022).
