The watch is an iconic design by JLC, here in form of a tribute to the 1931 Sports model – the Reverso ref. 277.2.62 (also known as Q2782520). Initially designed with polo players in mind, the Reverso is rarely used nowadays by sportsmen during an actual game, so the legendary rotating case here is more of an homage to a timeless classic rather than a useful feature. In recent years the Reverso line has turned into one of the most desirable dress watches available on the market. The new Grande Reverso Ultra Thin was introduced in 2011 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Reverso model. It has a remarkably thin (as the name suggests) case – 7.2 mm, measuring 46 by 27,5 mm, made from solid Rose Gold. The dial is found only on one of the sides and it is a white one, with blued steel hands for minutes and hours and doesn’t have a seconds hand. The watch is powered by the JLC cal. 822 – a sturdy companion with manual wind and 38h or power reserve. Our offering is in super good condition – has undergone service in late 2018.
