Description
This Heuer Carrera 1153N is dated to the early 70s. It has the Heuer 12 Chronomatic movement in it – cleaned and oiled and ticking strong. Cal 12. is a micro rotor movement – joint development of Hamilton-Buren, Breitling and Heuer with a Dubois-Depraz 8510 module on Buren 1281 base. The watch is in really good condition. It is a worn piece, but everything on it is working perfectly. Movement is serviced and ticking strong. Comes on a NOS Tropic strap from the 70s, that matches the style and feel of the watch perfectly. NEW! – added Branded Buckle. Signed crown and thick buttons. The case and caseback are super good. Nothing on the watch has ever been polished so there are some scratches, but nothing deep. Dial is super good – amazing blue one, the small scratch on the left sub-dial between 11 and 12 is visible only in the macros, never really saw it – not bothering in real life. The lume is there, but it has aged – it only adds to the vintage look of the watch. The crystal is looking good – minor surface scratches that can be easily polished.
