Franck Muller might be one of the youngest brands in the world of Haute Horlogerie, but they’ve already achieved a level of recognition few other brands can boast.
When watchmaker Franck Muller and Vartan Sirmakes, then a case maker, started their company in 1991, the two men agreed that it would specialize in watches that render historical complications in more modern, more spectacular ways. The aesthetic side of their work was of equal importance to them, so the designs the duo came up with were just as exciting as what lay underneath. Today, their Curvex case architecture has become at least as emblematic as those of the Cartier Tank, the Reverso, the Panerai Luminor, and even – some say – the AP Royal Oak.
The watch on offer here incorporates the ergonomic silhouette of the Curvex, restyling it in a free-spirited, larger-than-life fashion. More specifically, the case has been given a brushed blue PVD coating, which complements the blue rubber strap and mirrors the finishing of the dial. The latter features the iconic Muller Arabic numerals arranged in a center-facing manner, as well as a white central minutes track. Since it is curved along its length and width, the crystal is shaped by hand into the perfect fit, giving the watch a sleek, smooth profile. Inside, behind the brushed caseback, the caliber FM 2800 is confidently ticking away.
Our offering is brand new & comes in a full set of boxes and papers.
The watch is covered by 2 years of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
