Franck Muller Cintree Curvex Grande Guichet ref. 6850 S6 GG – Box & Papers, Serviced & Polished & New OEM Strap

Franck Muller might be one of the youngest brands in the world of Haute Horlogerie, but they’ve already achieved a level of recognition few other brands can boast.
When watchmaker Franck Muller and Vartan Sirmakes, then a case maker, started their company in 1991, the two men agreed that it would specialize in watches that render historical complications in modern and spectacular ways. The aesthetic side of their work was of equal importance to them, so the designs the duo came up with were just as exciting as what lay underneath. Today, their Curvex case has become as emblematic as the cases of the Cartier Tank, the Reverso, the Panerai Luminor, and – some say – the Royal Oak.
The watch on offer here is without a doubt among the classiest interpretations of the Cintrée. It incorporates the ergonomic silhouette of the Curvex, as well as several of the brand’s defining visual (and functional) staples. Namely, a set of blued cathedral-style hands, a dual-window date display located underneath the Frank Muller script, and a beautiful silver relief dial. The latter is adorned with the iconic Muller numerals arranged in a center-facing manner, with a small seconds indicator at 6 o’clock. Since the curved crystal is shaped by hand into the perfect fit, it gives the watch a sleek, smooth profile. Inside, behind the brushed caseback, the automatic caliber FM 2800 is confidently ticking away.
The watch was just professionally polished and serviced and is in excellent cosmetic and perfect working condition. It comes in a full set of boxes and papers and is outfitted with a brand new OEM crocodile leather strap.

The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
