Franck Muller might be one of the youngest brands in the world of Haute Horlogerie, but they’ve already achieved a level of recognition that few other brands can boast. When watchmaker Franck Muller and case maker Vartan Sirmakes started their company in 1991, the two men agreed that they would specialize in rendering historical complications in modern and spectacular ways. The aesthetic side of their work would follow suit, with novel designs that complement the brilliant mechanisms within. Today, their Curvex case architecture has become at least as recognisable as those of the Cartier Tank, the Reverso, the Panerai Luminor, and even – some say – the AP Royal Oak.
The watch on offer here incorporates the Curvex case and features several of the brand’s defining visual (and functional) staples. Namely, a set of classy cathedral-style hands, a circular date display at 6 o’clock, and a beautiful lacquered black dial. The latter is adorned by the iconic Muller Roman numerals, which come arranged in a center-facing manner. Since it is curved along its length and width, the sapphire crystal must be fashioned by hand into the perfect fit, giving the watch a sleek, seamless profile. Inside, behind the brushed caseback, the automatic caliber FM 2800Т is confidently ticking away.
Our offering is in excellent condition – just polished per OEM specs and comes with its original box. The rubber strap is in pristine condition, fits up to 20.5-21 cm wrists.
The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
