Fortis Aviatis B-42 Aeromaster Dusk PVD ref. 655.18.158 – NEW

It was in 1912 that Walter Vogt founded Fortis, but it wasn’t before he’d set up production with John Hardwood that things really started to take off. 1926 saw the release of the Hardwood Automatic – the first-ever self-winding wristwatch – and subsequent years would be no less eventful. By 1943, the brand had already introduced some of the first waterproof wristwatches on the market (the Fortissimo collection) and had produced its very own chronograph movement (featured in the Rolls and the Autorist.) In 1962, The Spacematic was created, heralding an era of sturdy and dependable professional watches and securing the manufacturer’s future. Today, the brand’s timepieces are being used by both Russian and American Cosmonauts, as well as by numerous military squadrons all over the world.
The Aviatis B-42 Aeromaster Dusk is both a continuation of Fortis’ avionic legacy and a celebration of its pioneering history. Its design is traditionally straightforward, evoking a much simpler era in watchmaking, and its execution is near-flawless. Where the model somewhat deviates from tradition is its PVD coated case, which gives it a sleek and tactical modern feel, and its nostalgic brown dial, which serves as a great backdrop for the blackened applied numerals.
The Aviatis B-42 Aeromaster is powered by the ETA caliber 2836-2.
Our offering is brand new and comes in a full set of boxes and papers.

The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty, starting on the date of purchase.
