Individualistic, nonconformist timepieces are what Montres Corum Sàrl (commonly referred to simply as Corum) is known for, and it’s little wonder that brand loyalists go absolutely crazy about them. Take the Bubble, for example.
Being the flagship of Corum’s lineup, the Bubble is produced in many variations. It gets its name from the unusual shape of its sapphire crystal and represents a larger-than-life attitude, as well as an unapologetic disregard for traditional aesthetics. As far as the watch on offer here is concerned, this disregard comes in the form of a total indifference to things like legibility and functionality. In a way, Corum is saying: “Who the Hell uses their watch to tell the time anymore?”, and they are right to make such a statement. What it lacks in functionality, mind you, it more than makes up for in the looks department. The rounded geometry and the all-white color palette make for an experience that is hard to put into words, but we trust our photos will fill you in on the details.
