Chronographe Suisse with Landeron 48

Description

This Chronographe Suisse is dated to the early-mid 50s. It has the Landeron 48 movement in it – cleaned and oiled and ticking strong. Gold plated case, sized 37.5mm. The chronograph functions work correctly – starts, stops and resets and although the buttons are worn and don’t stick out as much as they did in mint condition – they still do their thing perfectly. The dial is super bright white or ivory, depending on the lightning and it looks amazing – blue tachymeter and red telemeter, two chronograph registers – constant seconds at 9 o’clock and minutes counter at 3 o’clock. Some wear on the pushers and crown and the back of the case is not held tight (it will not fall or anything, but can be opened pretty easily). On a brand new Italian Morellato “Ibiza” Lizard padded Calf leather strap with a generic buckle that matches the watch color. Overall really cool piece in really good condition.
