Chopard Imperiale 29 Automatic Mother of Pearl dial ref. 388563-3005 – NEW, MSRP 6600 CHF

Founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in Sonvilier, Switzerland, Chopard is best known for its high-end watches and masterfully crafted jewelry. The manufacturer boasts an exemplary reputation both inside and outside watch enthusiasts circles, which can at least partly be attributed to their willingness to experiment with blending the two genres together. Whatever the exact reasons may be, one thing is certain – the brand’s modern collections do blur the line between luxurious timepiece and intricate ornament. Turns out that’s not a bad direction to take watch design in.
The ref. 388532-6002 Chopard Imperiale comes outfitted with an elegant stainless steel case with a dark amethyst set in the crown. The dial within incorporates a Mother of Pearl guilloched circular portion surrounded by a sunray-brushed hour ring, which in turn comes adorned with mirror-polished Roman indices. The latter emphasize the hypnotic mandala-like face of the watch while at the same time making it remarkably easy to read. That being said, ease of legibility isn’t really an issue here since one tends to find themselves quite uninterested in the time of day when glancing at this timepiece.
Unabashedly showcased by the sapphire caseback, the in-house caliber 09.01-C is resolutely ticking away, and it is no less pleasing to the eye than what lies on its other side.

Our offering is brand new, comes in a full set of boxes and papers and is outfitted with one heck of a svelte integrated leather strap..

The watch is covered by 2 years of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
