Bulgari BVLGARI Octo 41 Black DLC Solotempo ref. BGO 41 BBSVD / 102581 – NEW

If when you hear the words ”fashion watch”, you think of Bvlgari – you know.
You know that Bvlgari’s horological department is helmed by Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani. You know of his army of 300 master-watchmakers and their superb facilities where over 30 in-house movements are being produced. And of course, you know that Gerald Genta didn’t design watches for just anybody.

The watch on offer here, The Bvlgari Octo, is one of the most potent traces of Mr. Genta’s legacy, with a case that looks just as innovative today as it did when he first thought it up in his studio during the late nineties. The design was originally released under his eponymous brand, which Bvlgari later acquired and – as the Octo Ultranero makes plain to see – has been taking good care of since. In this rendition of the legendary model, the case measures at a balanced 41 mm and is covered in scratch-resistant Diamond-Like Carbon, which gives it its imposing black color. The dial showcases a deep lacquered black, which backdrops a set of rose gold sword hands and applied stick and Arabic numeral indices. Like all watches thought up by Genta, the Octo comes with an integrated (rubber) strap that ensures both optimal comfort and aesthetic consistency. Truly, this timepiece is a testament to the reverence to Genta’s legacy instilled by Mr. Stigliani.
Inside, proudly displayed by the sapphire caseback, the double-barrel caliber BVL 193 is ticking confidently away. It comes decorated with perlage, cotes de Geneve, and chamfering finishing, and it boasts a power reserve of 50 hours.

Our offering is brand new and comes with its original box, but no papers.

Covered by a limited warranty of 2 years, starting on the date of purchase.
