Breitling Navitimer Chronometer 41 ref. A17326211G1P1 – Silver dial, Very fresh

Breitling SA was founded in 1884 by Léon Breitling – a passionate and innovative watchmaker known for his sharp business sense. In 1915 – barely a year after he had passed – his son, Gaston, proved he had inherited his father’s pioneering spirit by introducing one of the first-ever wrist chronographs with a separate push-piece above the crown. The brand’s innovations continued well into the 1940s, and in 1952 – with Willy Breitling in the driver’s (or rather pilot’s) seat – the Navitimer made its debut. The iconic model proved extremely popular among pilots, airlines, and aircraft manufacturers and would later come to signify the beginning of Breitling’s avionic legacy.
The watch on offer here combines the historic appeal of earlier examples with the sophistication of a contemporary dressy timepiece. Everything about it has been made stealthier and more elegant, including the unmistakable slide-rule bezel. The silver dial mirrors the tone of the case, backdropping a set of brilliant 18k Rose Gold sword hands and applied indices. It also features a date display at 6 o’clock, which has been placed there to preserve the feeling of symmetry.
Inside, protected by the embossed steel caseback, the Breitling Caliber B17 is ticking resolutely away.
Our offering is in very good condition and comes outfitted with its OEM leather strap with a tang-type buckle. Ticking per specs. Comes as watch only.

The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
