The legacy of Breguet spans four centuries – a tapestry woven with innovations and inventions that encapsulate a significant chapter in the annals of Swiss watchmaking. Watches like the one presented here exemplify why Breguet stands as a cornerstone in the realm of Haute Horlogerie.

The Breguet Marine Chronograph boasts a meticulously polished 42mm straight-lugged case crafted from 18k gold. Its bezel, a mirror-polished frame for the dial, adds a touch of elegance. The dial, a canvas of pristine white also fashioned out of solid 18k gold covered in silver, creates a delightful contrast with the warm glow of the case. At its center, a waved guilloché motif adds a layer of sophistication. The applied rose-gold Roman numerals grace a greyish satin-finished ring, while luminous pips guide the polished Breguet-style hands through the hours and minutes. The seconds sub-dial finds its place at 9 o’clock, introducing a subtle asymmetry, while at 6 o’clock, the date display and circular month indicator add functional charm. Unusually, the chronograph minutes and hands are both centrally mounted.

The heart within, revealed through the sapphire caseback, beats with the rhythm of the Breguet caliber 583 Q/1 automatic: a 24-jewel straight-line lever escapement movement operating at 28,800 vph. It boasts a commendable power reserve of 48 hours, sports a solid-gold rotor, and was developed and constructed entirely in-house.

Our offering is in exemplary condition. It was just polished and serviced and is outfitted with a brand-new OEM strap. Somewhat regrettably, it doesn’t include boxes and papers.
