Despite being a little late to the party, the duo quickly distinguished themselves as one of the few truly innovative independent manufacturers around, as well as one of the most idiosyncratic. Their success was driven in equal parts by the aesthetics of their watches as it was by their versatility and toughness, which would become renowned throughout the watch world. Today, Bell & Ross is the official supplier for the French Air Force, the Space Lab Mission, and the Lafayette Escadrille, to name but a few. As it is evidenced by their square cases and round, highly-legible dials, the brand’s timepieces draw inspiration from the military aesthetic.

This Bell & Ross BR 03-92 watch features a Green Ceramic case known for its lightweight, scratch-resistant, and hypoallergenic properties. Its dial boasts high legibility with bright light green markers and hands against a matte black background, complemented by an anti-reflective coating and Super-LumiNova application. The date display between 4 and 5 o’clock is thoughtfully designed to blend with the dial. Inside, it’s powered by the BR-CAL.302 caliber – a Sellita SW300-1 based automatic movement, housed in a 9.8 mm case ensuring a slim profile suitable for everyday wear.
The Bell & Ross BR 03-92 is inspired by aviation instrument clusters, embodying a pilot’s essential tool. Its design emphasizes high legibility and functionality, much like an aircraft’s instrument panel, to provide clear and precise time-reading.
