Bell & Ross was founded in 1992 by two lifelong friends who shared a vision of functional design – Bruno Belamich (Bell) and Carlos A. Rosillo (Ross). Despite being a little late to the party, the duo quickly earned recognition for their professional aviation watches, which combine superb aesthetics with optimal functionality and reliability. Today, Bell & Ross is the official supplier for the French Air Force, the Space Lab Mission, the Lafayette Escadrille, and many other extreme professionals – a testament to the quality of its watches. As evidenced by their square cases and round, highly-legible dials, the brand’s instrument models draw inspiration from airplane cockpit clocks.
Introduced in 2017, the BR 03-92 Diver is not Bell & Ross’s first dive watch, but it is the first one to come equipped with the brand’s distinct square case. Few people would argue that the world of dive watches is quite oversaturated (pun only partially intended), but the 03-92 brings some interesting new ideas to the table. Along with the square satin-polished steel case, the watch features a unidirectional bezel with a black anodized aluminum insert, a stealthy date display between 4 and 5 o’clock, and a screw-down crown protected by a palpable guard. The black dial sports Superluminova indices, which – together with the syringe hands – provide legibility regardless of light conditions. The hour hand owes the faintness of its orange lume to the ISO standard, which stipulates that the minute hand should stand out. Minutes, after all, are far more important when timing a dive. The 03-92 meets all other ISO criteria, including the 300M water resistance. The Bell & Ross 03-92 Diver is powered by the calibre BR-CAL.302 – a 25-jewel automatic movement that boasts a power reserve of 48 hours.
Our offering is in excellent condition, comes in a full set of boxes and papers, and is equipped with its original woven black rubber strap. Ticking per specs.
The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty, starting on the date of purchase.
