The Rolex cal. 3055 is an in-house developed self-winding (automatic) movement. It was introduced by Rolex in 1977 as their fifth-generation Day/Date movement and was used in Day-Date models. It has a frequency of 28,800 and a power reserve of 48 hours, COSC certification, 27 jewels, Hacking seconds and Rapid calendar advance.
