Rolex cal. 1570
The Rolex cal. 1570 is an in-house developed self-winding (automatic) movement used in earlier versions of the Rolex Date – Datejust, Explorer, Submariner. It was introduced by Rolex in 1965 and has 26 jewels, a frequency of 19,800 and a power reserve of 48 hours. The cal. 1570 movement has hacking functionality and COSC certification, as well as Breguet hairspring and a KIF Ultraflex shock protection.
