The Rolex cal. 1161 is an in-house developed self-winding (automatic) movement used in their Oyster Perpetual models. It was introduced in 1964 and features a frequency of 19,800 beats per hour (A/h) and a power reserve of 42 hours, COSC certification, 26 jewels and their Perpetual winding rotor.
