Meister Anker
Meister Anker was a German watch brand that had a long and varied history. It was first established in Glashütte in 1951 as part of the state-owned Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe, which was responsible for mass-producing affordable wristwatches in East Germany. In 1968, the Meister Anker brand was registered for Quelle, a German mail-order company that sold watches manufactured by third-party companies. In the 1980s Quelle sold many Poljot models under the Meister-Anker brand. The Meister-Anker brand was owned by the legal successors of Quelle until the company went bankrupt in 2009.
