Louis Erard
Louis Erard is a Swiss watch brand that was founded in 1929 by Louis Erard, a watchmaker and inventor. The brand initially produced pocket watches and pendulum clocks, but later expanded into the production of wristwatches.
In the early 2000s, Louis Erard was acquired by the Swiss investment company MELB Holding and relaunched with a new focus on high-quality mechanical timepieces. Today, the brand is known for its elegant and classic designs, as well as its use of in-house movements and high-grade materials. Louis Erard has also gained a reputation for its innovative complications, including its patented retrograde display and its skeletonized watches.
