G-SHOCK
The G-SHOCK subbrand of watches was founded by Casio engineer Kikuo Ibe in 1983. Ibe was inspired to create a watch that was not only durable and reliable, but also stylish and fashionable. He spent ten years developing the first G-SHOCK model, the DW-5000C, which was released in 1993. The watch featured a unique shock-resistant design that was able to withstand drops and other impacts, and it quickly became popular with outdoor enthusiasts and people who needed a reliable watch for work.
Over the years, the G-SHOCK brand has continued to innovate and release new models that incorporate advanced features such as GPS, solar power, and Bluetooth connectivity. Today, G-SHOCK watches are known for their ruggedness and durability, and they are popular with people of all ages and lifestyles.
