Angelus
The Angelus watch company was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1891 by two brothers, Louis and Constant Brandt. At the time, the company was known for producing high-quality pocket watches with advanced features such as repeaters, chronographs, and calendars. In the 1920s, Angelus introduced its first wristwatch, and by the 1930s, it had become one of the leading producers of wristwatches in Europe.
Throughout the 20th century, Angelus continued to innovate and expand its product line, introducing new watch movements, complications, and design elements. In the 1960s, the company began producing watches with automatic winding mechanisms, and later in the 1970s it introduced its first quartz watches.
Today, Angelus is known for producing high-end, luxury watches that are prized for their precision and craftsmanship. The company continues to produce a wide range of watches for both men and women, including classic, sport, and dress styles.
