Pocket Zenith from 1926 – 18k Yellow Gold, Breguet hands, Serviced

The watch is pocket Zenith, dated by the serial number (2701127) to 1926. It is powered by the predecessor of the Zenith cal. 106 – the 16′” movement – an interesting early Zenith caliber with bimetallic screw balance, Breguet hairspring and a cam disc regulator. The watch case is made from 18k solid Yellow Gold and has all the proper markings – the Gold stamp, the Zenith stamp, the case serial number, etc, it is in very good condition and shows minimal wear in form of hairpins. The dial is a yellow one with Arabic numerals, aged pretty well and formed some patina on the 2 o’clock marker and between the 5 and 8 o’clock indices. The hands are mesmerizing Breguet style, aged in a dark brown shade. It has been professionally serviced in 05.2020 and is ticking perfectly.
