Its meticulously constructed 42mm case, a testament to unparalleled craftsmanship, beckons appreciation. Every facet, meticulously finished, boasts a complexity that challenges perception, transcending the familiar three dimensions with its intricate geometry and satin finish. The beveled edges gracefully soften the overall aesthetic, while the integrated leather bracelet follows a tapered design, ensuring a remarkably comfortable wearing experience. The latter’s stitching complements the color palette of the dial, which in turn evokes a number of associations. It is precisely the dial that gives the model its Safari designation, but the warm tones that draw from the Savannah are also quite reminiscent of those found in, say, a cup of freshly brewed cappuccino or along the edges of a rustic piece of furniture. And while it’s true that the Grande Tapisserie dial commands the most attention with its detailed symmetry, it is by virtue of the harmony of all the watch’s elements that, in its elusive alchemy, creates true magic.
